November will be here before we know it and it is time to prepare for the holiday season! The CASA Kane County Holiday Giving Event to benefit children in foster care will take place December 8 - 10, 2022. As a CASA Kane County Board Member, we are reaching out today to see if we can count on your generosity. CASA Kane County is a Guardian ad Litem, a nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of children in abuse, neglect, and private guardianship cases within the Juvenile Court system.
We currently have nearly 600 children in our program; our goal is to bring a bit of magic to every home in which these children reside! If you would like to help brighten the holidays for youth who otherwise may not receive gifts of their own, please bring a new unwrapped gift to our St. Charles location before December 5th, 2022. If you are not able to get your gifts here, let us know and we will arrange to pick them up before the cut-off date of 12/5/22. Children of all ages (birth - 21) are in need of new books, activities, toys, and personal items. We are especially in need of toys and activities for children from birth through the age of 4.
